PCTO – training credits and volunteering

Volunteering, training credits, PCTO, opportunities are near you! 2021-2022

Try one of the Educational Transversal Skills and Orientation Tracks (PCTO),
also known as Alternating School Work according to the modalities foreseen by your school.
(some institutions provide the pathway at school within the class group).

Why get involved with educators?
To see if you actually working with educators!
To see a professional educator at work!
To see firsthand what helping children of your town grow means!
To enrich your CV and help find a future job!
To obtain training credits!
To add value to your PCTO!
To get to know about both barriers and resources of people very different from you!

Here’s some considerations of some volunteers (taken from a questionnaire published from within the project “With the most frail” in collaboration with the association Ki Ci Sta) on how volunteering work enriches their present life:

“You get to know yourself by spending time with children and preteens!”
“[By volunteering] my mind drifts off from negative thoughts and I feel good. I feel good with children and also knowing I’m helping them empowers me.”
“Giving value to time, actions, and different normalities of everyone dismantles any type of prejudice!”
