Project actions

General activities

Theory of Change includes an initial phase of research and local data collection aimed at better understanding the difficulties migrant children and their families face in language learning and access to the school system.

In Italy, Una Casa per l’Uomo,  Kirikù e IRC carried out interviews, focus groups, and surveys involving children, parents, teachers, educators, mediators, social workers, and other local stakeholders. The collected data are then compared with those gathered by the other project partners in order to build a shared European understanding of the needs and challenges involved. Based on this analysis, the project will develop and test innovative educational methodologies that can be integrated into existing school and educational practices. An online interactive platform will also be created as both an educational tool and an e-learning space focused on orientation, empowerment, critical thinking, and debate activities.

Kirikù’s role

Kirikù is a project partner and leader of the Work Package which focuses on experiential learning and the empowerment of minors and parents through social and educational activities. Within this work package, Kirikù supports language learning for minors, promotes awareness of children’s rights, and fosters their integration into the local community. At the same time, it works with parents to strengthen parenting skills, increase awareness of rights, and support their participation in community life.
